Angry Birds Green Day Details Emerge
Mobile versions of the Green Day levels hinted at in interview.
Speaking to The Guardian, Angry Birds publisher Rovio's Peter Vesterback has hinted that we can expect the recently announced collaboration with pop-punk Green Day to be extended to the mobile version of the best-selling physics puzzler.
"We haven't announced everything besides the Facebook stuff that is live now, but we view this as a first step in a much bigger co-operation," he said.
"Our fans and Green Day's fans should expect more of the same surprise and delight. We always want to surprise people!"
Rovio recently teamed up with the band to introduce ten new levels to the Facebook edition of Angry Birds. The pigs in this new content are represented by the three members of the band: Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool.
As well as bringing new gameplay content to the Facebook version, the band's new single Oh Love is also included. More levels and music will accompany the game as Green Day begin the release of three new albums over the course of just four months.
