Polarium Heads to GBA
But will the lack of stylus hinder it?
The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu reports that the Nintendo DS puzzle game, Polarium, is on course for a Game Boy Advance release. Titled Tsuukin Hitofude, the game will not contain the Challenge Mode seen in the DS version, but instead feature an enhanced Puzzle Mode.
Furthermore, as many as 365 puzzle stages will be available (triple the amount of the DS game), each having three different methods of play, including: Stage Mode, Time Attack Mode, and Edit Mode.
Three special types of panels will be added to the gameplay as well (on top of the already seen white and black panels), and the ability to set panel colors should ensure a much more vibrant display as opposed to its DS counterpart.
Tsuukin Hitofude for the Game Boy Advance is currently scheduled to arrive in Japan on October 13th with a price tag of 2,800 yen. A North American release is likely, but until we get mention of that, check out our review of Polarium on the Nintendo DS to see what's in store.
