Shaman King 2 Arrives on GBA
More virtual anime role playing for the portable enthusiast
Konami announced today that its latest portable title, Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2, has begun shipping to North American retailers for the Game Boy Advance. An action-RPG, the game is based on the popular anime franchise and will have players embarking on a quest to become the next Shaman King.
Being a sequel to the first Master of Spirits seen on the GBA, this latest installment is sure to visit familiar territory for returning players, as the center role once again falls upon Yoh Asakura, a junior high student with the unique ability to contact spirits. After teaming up with a 600 year old samurai named Amidamaru, Yoh sets on his adventure to compete in a grand tournament held every 500 years.
During gameplay, players can collect the spirits of the foes they diminish and then proceed to use them as aids during combat. Additionally, Guardian Ghosts will also be available for summoning during battles to effectively halt the actions of any and all enemies who should dare cross your path.
Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 for the Game Boy Advance is rated "E 10+" for everyone ages 10 and older and is available at a suggested retail price of $29.99.
