Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile Cheats And Tips
This week marks the release of the long awaited fighting hybrid game, Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile. We published our review earlier today, praising the game's single-player game along with a fair few regrets about the online performance. If you're struggling to get to grips with the basics, here's our guide to landing a few solid blows.
What moves can my character make?
The list is far too extensive to put here, but if you want to see what each character is capable of, hit the pause menu at any time and select Command List.
A little knowledge only goes so far though, so it's well worth putting a character through its paces in the Training section of the single-player game.
Which characters should I choose?
Much will come down to personal preferences (not to mention mastery over so many years), but when picking your tag-team it's important to choose characters that compliment each other so that you're ready to handle any match-up.
A good fast brawler is useful for close-up encounters, but you might want someone a little zippier to go up against equally agile opponents.
How do I take part in more multiplayer matches?
To take part in the global ranked matches online, you're going to need to use the Credits currency. You'll pick up more of these over time, but you'll need to head over to the cash-shop if you need to get hold of some more, faster. Prices vary across regions so check from your device.
Note also that if you win your match you get to keep your credit which adds even more incentive to win a fight. It's a good reason to really master your preferred partners before heading into global battle.
How do I get a re-match with a player?
At the end of each match, you'll be presented with the option to send a message to your opponent from a fixed list of options. Request a rematch here, or just be a good sport and pay them a compliment if you're signing off from the match.
How do I win online?
As we noted in our review, the online performance of the game was a major cause for concern. If you're finding yourself fighting the network as much as you are your opponent, wait for the system to catch up before making any moves. If they're not doing the same, you can very easily catch them off-guard.
How does the replay system work?
After each bout you'll get the option to save a replay. If you want to view your finest moments, or simply analyze why you lost (highly recommended), head to the My Data section from the main menu, then select Replay Data. You can have up to fifty different replays stored at any one time.
What is the Card List?
his shows who you've recently played against and what their stats are like. Select a card, hit Display and you'll then be able to see their performance details.
How do I upgrade a Pandora's Box?
Pandora's boxes are special power-ups that can give you a decent edge in combat, particularly when you're down on your luck.
You can upgrade them via the Shop which is found from the main menu screen. Once you've then selected the Pandora's Box option, you can select individual boxes, then select Upgrade. Note that you'll need to spend points and Credit currency to upgrade these. You can also select your box of choice here.
