Become the ultimate zombie killer and score 40,000 free gold.
Gamevil's newest iPhone and iPad shooter, Zombie Gunner, is jam-packed with flesh-eating monsters that have only one mission: devour hero Andrew's brains at all costs. That said, you can watch the poor guy become a statistic, or equip some weapons and come out firing while earning tons of gold along the way. For that, we have this Zombie Gunner cheats and tips guide. Do enjoy it.

Since Zombie Gunner is free-to-play, that means Gamevil peppered in-app purchases into the game. You don't have to spend a penny, of course, but to get the best weapons and equipment, a trip to the real bank may be necessary.

In a cool twist, Zombie gunner comes with support characters called Friends that, when equipped, imbue Andrew with special abilities. Naturally, they cost gold to unlock, and we strongly suggest buying a few, as they come in quite handy. Here's the full list.

Don't Forget About Player Upgrades
You can even give Andrew's abilities a boost, if you have gold to spare, that is.

Speed: Increases movement speed by five.
Stamina: Increases Max Stamina by 10.

Weapons And Machines
Andrew's fists are enough to destroy countless zombies, but let's face it, he won't last long against the tougher enemies. To deal with them, head to the Shop and buy cool new weapons, like the Magazine Rifle, Shotgun, Flamethrower, Bazooka, Ice Gun and Laser Gun. Then, for even more stopping power, consider picking up a tank or mecha. That'll put some fear into those undead eyes.
Shoot In The Opposite Direction
Zombies appear from both sides, so it's always a good idea (when moving left or right) to fire a few shots in the opposite direction, just to see if there's anything off screen attempting a sneak attack.
Don't Waste Ammo
At the same time, you also don't want to waste a ton of bullets, so don't unload a full clip unless there's something there, and always keep an eye on the ammo counter.
Roll To Avoid Damage
Tapping the directional button twice instructs Andrew to roll away, saving his hide in the process.
Use Specific Weapons For Different Zombie Types
Some of the tougher, more advanced zombies stand no chance against certain weapons. Spark Zombies, for example, are highly susceptible to shotgun and laser fire, while Ice Zombies have trouble with the flamethrower and laser gun. Find out which enemies will appear in various stages, and plan accordingly.
Don't Leave Gold Coins Lying Around
Do that, and they'll eventually disappear. Don't let them disappear.
Win Or Lose, You Earn Gold
See, it's OK if Andrew croaks, sort of. Hey, at least you'll score a bit of gold at his expense.
