Pac 'n Roll Arrives on DS
Never has a Pac-Man game contained so much rolling
Namco announced today that their latest handheld title, Pac 'n Roll, has begun shipping to retailers across North America for the Nintendo DS. In Pac-Man's latest expedition, the developers have maintained the style and gameplay of classic Pac-Man titles, implementing the features of the Nintendo DS to provide a wholly new experience.
As it starts out, Pac-Man suddenly finds himself surrounded by a mysteriously altered world, as by some magical reason the realm of Pac-Land has transformed into Ghost-Land. Discovering the culprit behind the misdeeds, the rock'n rolling Ghost Golvis, Pac-Man sets out to rescue his friends in a world where all the inhabitants have turned to spheres.
Seeing as Pac-Man takes the form of a ball, players will control him through the various track-like stages by properly using the DS's touch screen to roll him around. Along the way, there's sure to be plenty of unique power-ups and ability enhancing items to be found.
Pac 'n Roll for the Nintendo DS is rated "E" for Everyone and will carry a price tag of $29.99.
