Marvel War Of Heroes Cheats And Tips
Marvel War Of Heroes has finally been released on the App Store and you can download it now for free! While we're still waiting for an Android release of the game, we published our review earlier today. Why not have a read while you wait?
If you're new to card battling games, or just want to find out some of the finer details of War Of Heroes' combat and group-play, we've put together all the information you need to get stuck into this fine card collecting game.
How do I recharge my energy meter?
Every time you participate in combat during a mission, you will lose a little bit of your energy bar. The only way to top it up is to either go to the store and purchase a refill (expensive), or simply wait for it to refill over time. You'll earn 1 energy point for every minute you're not in combat.
Use this time to play around with your decks, do some Fusions and work on your strategies.
What can I do with the silver currency?
You earn silver by selling cards you no longer need, or taking part in the missions of the game. You'll need this money to both upgrade cards, and build alliances with other players.
I'm missing Resources, how can I find more?
Taking part in missions will sometimes reward you with a rare Resource item. Each one forms part of a set of items, and once you've completed a set you'll be rewarded with a special new card. Resources can be earned by taking part in missions, or battling other players where you've specified that you're after a particular Resource.
Why should I stick to one card?
Each time you take part in a battle with a particular card, its mastery rating will increase. Once that rating reaches a certain level, both your attacking and defending stats will receive a useful boost on the battlefield.
How can I stop other players from winning my cards?
You can nominate one card to be protected during battle, ensuring that you'll keep hold of it even if you go on to lose the match. It'll also stop you from accidentally selling it yourself, or fusing it with another card!
How do I team up with other players?
Ready to do battle with some friends? Before the mission, select the option to take group members in with you, then choose an ally who's around the same level as you. You'll need to wait for them to accept your invitation before you can team up together though.
How does Twist of Fate work?
If you take on an opponent and their deck is much lower in ability, the Twist of Fate mechanic occurs, reducing your attack power in the process.
How do I edit my decks?
Looking to make a few changes, or switch out a low-performing card? Press the menu button, then select Deck Edit if you want to shake things up a little bit.
What are the benefits of Rallying?
If you Rally another player, you're effectively showing your support to them. In exchange, you'll be rewarded with Rally Points, which are earned every 2 hours as long as you're Rallying the same player.
How do I fuse cards together?
Got a duplicate card in your deck? Head to the Fusion section and select a base card and a fuser card. You'll need a certain amount of silver to complete the transaction, but once completed some of the stats of the duplicate card will be transferred to the original.
How do Alliances work in Marvel War of Heroes?
Each Alliance has to have an Alliance Leader, although they can hand their position over to another player if they choose. The current leader will need to send a leadership request to a member for this to happen. If the current leader doesn't log in for 20 consecutive days, other players in the alliance will be able to run for the position automatically.
