Arman Bohn's Musical RPG, Arranger, Arrives This Thursday For iOS
Prepare to enter a strange retro inspired world overflowing with funk, jazz and hip-hop.
The last action RPG that seamlessly blended music into the experience was Capybara Games' 2011 release, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, which is why we're so excited about Arranger, a strange-looking title from Ayopa Games. Created by musician Arman Bohn, the bizarre role-playing effort sends players through a retro world clearly inspired by old school Atari 2600 and PC games. What helps make the game stand out are 16 different instruments to battle with, along with a promising soundtrack featuring such genres as pop, funk, jazz, hip-hop, new age and more; over 5,000 musical combat combinations.
Have to admit, we've never used a xylophone to defeat bosses. That said, we can't wait to check out Arrange ($0.99) as soon as it hits iPhone and iPad this Thursday, November 15.
