Doors & Rooms Cheats And Tips Part 1
We'll get you through the first chapter of this challenging game.
Doors & Rooms is the latest in a long line of escape-the-room puzzle games, and it's safe to say it packs in more of a challenge than most. If you're struggling to get through the very early stages of the game, here's a quick walkthrough of the first ten levels.
The simplest puzzle you'll face in the game, all you have to do here is tap on the door handle to make it through to the next room. We think the game might be trying tell you something with this one...
See that bolt at the bottom of the door? Double-tap on it to bring up the sliding bolt image. Tap on the far left-hand side to slide the bolt out of its hole, then double-tap on the door to leave the room. Simple!
Grab that hammer from the floor, then head into your inventory via the icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Select the hammer, then click Use, then tap on the glass box. Tap on the key to pick it up, select it the same way you selected the hammer, then click on the door-knob to open the door and move on to the next stage.
First of all, have a good rummage around in the chest of drawers to the right of the screen. Collect the bauble and then head into the inventory. Select the bauble, then hit the Dismantle button to break it open. Use the key inside on the door lock and then leave the room.
There are two objects lying on the floor, a remote control device and some batteries. Pick them both up, then head into the inventory. In the inventory, select both objects and then tap Combine to put the batteries in the remote. Now use the device on the small tunnel hole to the left of the door and your key will come trundling out! Pick it up and use it on the doorknob, then leave.
Grab the piece of paper off the wall, then head into your inventory. Select the crumbled up paper, then hit Observe. Make a mental note of the code written on it, leave the inventory, then enter that code into the safe door on the right-hand side. Take the key and use it on the door to escape.
Be quick! That ticking noise is the sound of a bomb counting down. Grab the parcel on the floor quickly, then dismantle it in the inventory. Use the bundle of dynamite on the cabinet on the right-hand side of the screen. Shut the door! After 30 seconds the bomb will detonate and the door in front of you can be opened.
See that letter 'E' on the floor? You need to draw that capital 'E' out of button-presses on the panel to the right of the door. Once entered, you can open the door and head on to the next challenge.
There are a bunch of keys hanging from the ceiling. To lower them, you need to press on the four boxes in the middle of the floor in the correct order. It varies randomly so we can't give you the answer, but work out the stages incrementally. Keep working back until you've sussed out the full order of all four boxes.
Now grab the bunch of keys and use them from the inventory screen to open the door!
This is where you'll wish you'd bought a pen and paper with you. The keys you picked up in earlier stages had numbers written on them. You need to enter those numbers to unlock the door. Didn't make a note of them? No problem, here's the code you need in order to make it through to the second chapter: 7239.
