Trace Memory Arrives on DS
Go on a journey of memory tracing
Nintendo announced today that the unique adventure title, Trace Memory, has begun shipping to stores nationwide for the DS. The game follows the story a young girl named Ashley, daughter of two scientists who had been secretly working at a government lab until they suddenly disappeared 10 years ago.
One day Ashley receives a mysterious letter from her father citing that he is in fact still alive and is somewhere on Blood Edward Island. After arriving at the island in hopes of finding her father, Ashley soon discovers that her parents had been developing a computer that generates memories, called Trace. And so begins her adventure to piece together all the clues and uncover the hidden secrets behind her parents work.
As players move around the 3-D map, the bottom screen displays a birds-eye view of the action, while the top screen shows a first-person view of scenes and conversations. To advance in the game, players must work to solve puzzles that take advantage of the DS's touch screen and microphone.
