Run'N'Gun Cheats And Tips
Shoot first, pick up coins immediately afterwards.
If you're into endless running games, Gaijin Entertainment's iPhone and iPad shoot-em-up, Run'n'Gun, should help scratch that itch. Released for free, this intense jumping/diving blast-a-thon tests your platforming skills as you guide one of five characters through a handful of environments while killing goblins to steal the precious gold the creatures carry. Naturally, it's a bit more complex than that, so our cheats and tips guide should keep you running and gunning for hours.

These special in-game achievements ask you to complete a variety of bonus-based objectives, like shooting 25 goblins or jumping across 10 pits. Do this successfully, and you stand to earn valuable XP and gold.
Tip: Don't get too greedy. It's OK to leave coins behind if it means avoiding death.
In most cases, unlocking an achievement is merely for bragging rights, but in this game, you'll earn XP. On that note, be sure to look over the list and do your best to score 50,000 points (900 XP), travel 5,000 meters without tripping (1,500 XP) and unlock all rank one upgrades (1,000 XP), among other challenges.
Tip: Left or right? Pay attention to which direction a goblin travels and be sure to follow it.
Unlock All Five Characters
Run'n'Gun comes with five characters, and all but the Hunter (available from the start) possess a signature ability that makes the game easier. It's in your best interest to unlock them all, but you'll need a ton of virtual currency to make that happen.
Troll (30,000 coins): Strong creature, can destroy obstacles on its way.
Sheriff (35,000 coins): Very effective against big goblins.
Twins (350 crystals): Can run under obstacles without hitting them.
Hobgoblin (50,000): Gathers all bonuses by himself.
Level Up Your Abilities
You can boost character stats, thereby improving the ability to attract coins, ignore obstacles and increase the rate of fire, to name a few. These upgrades cost coins or crystals, and some are only available once you reach a certain level, which makes collecting XP especially important.
Tip: Tilt the device away from you to shoot.
Don't Forget About Equipment
These power-ups give you an edge, whether you desire to restart from where you died or score a well-deserved boost.
- Wings (1,000 coins): Restart after fail when activated.
- Rage (1,500 coins): Charge forward, destroying everything.
- Boost (10 crystals): Start at the beginning of the Park zone.
- Mega Boost (15 crystals): Start at the beginning of the Mines zone.
- Overgrowth Potion (five crystals): Doubles XP earned for the next run.
