LEGO Legends of Chima: Speedorz Cheats And Tips
Harness the power of CHI.
Although we didn't enjoy it much, hardcore LEGO fans will probably give the new free-to-play kart racer, Legends of Chima: Speedorz a go, if for nothing else than to scratch some digital itch. That said, while the game is fairly easy, we'll help break everything down with this cheats and tips guide.
Always Collect Studs
As you explore each of The Tribal Cup's six tracks, you'll see LEGO studs all over the place. You basically collect as many of these suckers as humanly possible, since they function as the game's virtual currency. Don't leave any behind if you can help it.
Complete Bonus Objectives For CHI
Think of CHI as you would Nitrous in an arcade style racing game. The more you have, the faster you'll be able to go. The developers place CHI orbs around the tracks, but the easiest way to get more is to complete mini-games that challenge you to guide your character through flaming rings and into obstacles. Bowling for CHI? You bet.
Don't get too greedy. You may need to conserve CHI for the end of a race.
Tip: To activate CHI, pull on the virtual cord, located on the top right corner of the screen.
Keep An Eye On The Competition
Unlike competing kart racers, you don't see the computer opponent per se. Instead, there's a visual representation of who's in first/second on the top portion of the screen; you're green, the computer's red. While you don't have to obsess over positioning the entire race, it's a good idea to occasionally glance at it to see where you stand.
Tip: Win races to unlock new parts to customize your character.
Upgrade To A Better Speedor
Your base Speedor can get the job done, but if you want to smoke the computer, spend some of those studs on sexier vehicles with superior speed and handling. Don't forget to equip the Speedor after buying it.
Tip: Improve your win times to earn gold stars.
The path to victory is often littered with tree roots, rocks and wooden crates. You'll pass through most of this junk, but it'll slow you down. With the computer in constant pursuit, you can't afford to give up precious seconds.
