CraftedBattle Cheats And Tips

Obliterate those bots with our handy hints and tips.

We found the thrills of CraftedBattle to be rather limited in our review earlier today, but this Minecraft-inspired first-person shooter certainly has its moments. If you're looking to get an upper hand against your AI enemies, or want to get to grips with the map editor, we've put together some useful hints and tips for you.

How do I create a new map in CraftedBattle?

2

If you've grown tired of the standard maps, you can always create some of your own. Head into Edit Maps from the main menu, then from here you can either tweak the existing maps or create something entirely new. To make a new map tap New, then choose your Terrain, Blocktype and Ground Level settings, then hit Edit.

How does the map editor work in CraftedBattle?

Once you've created a map, you can select the block type from the top of the screen, and place it over the highlighted area with the Place button. If you want to remove a block, hit Remove. Once you're finished, hit Save & Exit. You can then enter the map from the Custom Game area of the main menu. Don't forget to name your best creations, so you can find them easily.

What's a good strategy for beating bots in CraftedBattle?

Those AI bots will fire on anything that comes their way, so the best advice is to get up as high as possible and scope out the battlefield. This way you'll be able to see the positioning of the bots, then go in and kill any damaged duel survivors. If the bot's taken a lot of damage, you might want to consider switching to the knife so as to conserve ammo.

What should I do when I'm running out of ammo in CraftedBattle?

3

If you're in a place of safety, and you only have a few rounds of ammo left in your clip, it's a good idea to simply empty the clip and wait for the reload timer to finish. That will give you a full clip for the next attack you make. If you're coming under fire and you're running out, you might want to think about switching to the knife and getting up close with your opponent.

What should I do when I'm running out of health in CraftedBattle?

If you're playing in a game with zero health recharge, then you might as well just go in all guns blazing - although try and focus on a bot that's already taken some damage in a previous fight. If you've got health recharge enabled in your game, it's worth hiding out somewhere until you're back to full health. Think about emptying your clip too, so you'll be fully reloaded by the time you're ready to head back into battle.

What are the different end conditions available in CraftedBattle?

When you create your game, you'll have the choice of either playing endlessly until you get bored, or setting a time/kill limit for the match. You can create a match to last 2, 5 or 10 minutes, or set a kill limit of 5, 20 or 50 kills.

How can I improve the view sensitivity in CraftedBattle?

4

By default, the view sensitivity is a little low in CraftedBattle. To remedy this, and give yourself a greater fighting chance in battle, head into the options and tap on the View Sensitivity option. We recommend raising this to High, and then when you're comfortable with this value set it to Very High for your best chance of survival.
