The Blockheads' David Frampton Outlines Update Plans
3.5 million downloads and counting, but what's coming next?
In an update on The Blockheads forums (spotted by Pocket Gamer), developer David Fampton has revealed that the blockbuster free-to-play game has now been downloaded 3.5 million times since launch earlier this month.
A recent update tweaked a few bugs in The Blockheads, but since then Frampton's been cooking up a few new treats for fans of the world-building game. The new content update is due to be released in the next two weeks, and will introduce a compost block that allows plants and trees to grow faster, a kelp plant that grows in water, and waterproof lanterns crafted from steel and glass instead of clay. Players can also look forward to a new block type, although details are currently under wraps.
