Frontline Commando: D-Day Landing On iOS And Android
Destroy the German war machine across 145 Nazi-blasting missions.
World War 2 inspired developers to create quite a few third and first person shooters, at least until audiences became obsessed with modern day conflicts. The gaming landscape changed so much that we started to miss WWII, and that being said, kudos to Glu Mobile to resurrecting it with Frontline Commando: D-Day, an upcoming free-to-play effort for iOS and Android.
From what we've heard, the game will feature 145 missions spread across five unique campaigns. Players will take part in historical beach landings like Juno, Sword, Utah and Omaha. They'll also explore destructible environments, hop on anti-aircraft guns and take out tanks.
Five years ago, this would have seemed mundane. Today, a little WWII is the shot in the arm mobile gaming needed. On that note, we'll have more on this title in the days and weeks ahead.
