Viewtiful Joe PSP Dated
While we've known about Capcom's plans to bring the Viewtiful Joe franchise over onto the PSP for quite some time now, it is only today that we've learned just when that title will arrive on the system. According to an official statement issued by the company earlier today, Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble will be making its way onto Sony's portable later in March of next year.
Already available for the Nintendo GameCube, Joe's portable iteration will follow closely to that of his console counterpart, with a few exclusive new features to make the PSP trip all the more worth taking.
Dante of Devil May Cry fame will be available as an unlockable character, bringing with him a host of new moves and combat styles, as well as his own storyline. A new Trial Mode has been added for the single player experience, offering an assortment of quick and challenging mini-games. And last but not least, the title will make use of the PSP's Game Sharing capabilities and allow for others to play selective stages and characters using only one disk.
Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble for the PSP has been rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB. Capcom has also released a few new screenshots of the game, which you can view below, to hopefully make the wait till March less enduring.
