Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Revealed
PSP owners bow to the gods
Square Enix just recently decided that it was time to blow the minds of RPG fans around the world with the completely unexpected announcement of a new Valkyrie Profile game currently in development for the PlayStation 2. And if the news of a sequel to one of the most beloved RPGs ever released was not enough, the company also stated their plans to bring an enhanced port of the original Valkyrie Profile (released on the PlayStation 1) to Sony's PSP.
Though details on the port are currently limited, a few tidbits of information have managed to surface through various sources in Japan. Titled Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, the game will come featured with an assortment of new story content to properly flesh out the events that lead into Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria, the sequel due out on PS2, along with an image reformatting for proper display on the PSP's 16:9 widescreen.
Other than this, little information is known, but there are reports leaking out that state that the game will see a release in Japan on March 2nd of next year, and carry a price tag of 5,040 yen.
