Final Fantasy Tactics S Developed For Mobage Platform

Yes, but how much will it cost?

Final Fantasy Tactics S, the upcoming installment in the classic series, is being developed for Mobage's social gaming platform. Given Mobage's success with titles like Marvel: War of Heroes and Rage of Bahamut, the smart money's on this new title taking the form of a free-to-play collectible card game.

The last time we got our hands on a mobile Final Fantasy game, it was in the form of the rather tragic All The Bravest, a game that went on to attract no small amount of criticism from the gaming press for its, ahem, "optimistic" freemium pricing. Let's hope some lessons have been learned in the meantime.
