Dice rolls and headshots.

With the weekend quickly approaching, now is a great time to download the very best iOS and Android games for your mobile device. As it turns out, several great ones debuted on the respective App Stores. How does a quality port of a beloved board game sound, or waves of flesh-eating zombies lining up to get slaughtered? Really, you can't go wrong with either game.

Android: The House of the Dead Overkill: The Lost Reels [Download: Android|iOS]

Zombies and video games remain a perfect match, and thanks to Sega's blood-filled shooter, it's easy to see why. With levels pulled from the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions of Overkill, you'll explore a monster-plagued mansion and other enemy-ridden locales, gunning down these creatures and watching their heads explode in a big red gush. Having to purchase the third episode for an additional $1.99 (after spending $4.99 to download the game) is a bit greedy on Sega's part, but we can't resist the addictive touch-to-shoot controls and the ensuing carnage.
