The iPad version of Mode 7 Games' celebrated PC strategy title Frozen Synapse will be released for the iPad on May 16th. An Android version of the game will be released shortly afterwards, although a release date has yet to be confirmed.
Talking to Modojo's sister-site Eurogamer last month, Mode 7's joint managing director Paul Taylor announced that the asynchronous shooter would support cross-platform sessions between all versions of the game.
"Cross-platform play between iOS, Android and desktop version is definitely happening," he said.
"You will be able to start matches on one device, then take your subsequent turns on any other device.
