Douche Defender Charms iPhone And iPad
“Man your clothes look cheap. What? Are you from the poor part of town?”
It's been a while since an iOS game made us do a collective double take. That said, this honor now belongs to Douche Defender, a bizarre and funny-looking title from Big Head Mode.
The concept deals with players identifying pick-up artists by their cheesy lines, while at the same time educating themselves on the tricks the slime balls employ. For defense? For offense? To get a woman's number? It's all fair game, apparently.
Douche Defender comes by way of Scott Foe, who worked on the successful Pocket Kingdom.
"I'm always trying to bring something new, something that people have never seen before, something from the way-way out-there machine, and we have definitely achieved that uniqueness with Douche Defender," said Foe. "There is a huge subculture of seduction lurking out there on the internet and this is both the first game that I have designed with female players as the targets and the first game that I have designed with real-world implications outside of the game, and so I am very excited to see how Douche Defender is received."
Quite well, so far, with one App Store reviewer stating it's "the perfect game to play in bars." We'll just have to see about that.
