-Don't stay in one place for too long. Quickly attacking a variety of enemies will make you more difficult to hit.
-Keep an eye on the Super Combo meter just below the character's health bar. Pulling off elaborate moves fills it quickly, while taking damage depletes it rapidly.
-When the Super Combo meter is full, press the button, then swipe as many enemies as possible. Sit back and watch your fighter do the rest.
-It's a good idea to devote an entire Super Combo meter to bosses, since they're tougher to beat.
-Always remember that a full Super Combo meter doesn't carry over to new levels. Use it or lose it.
-Swipe with two fingers to begin combos, which are more powerful than one finger strikes.
-Before choosing a fighter, click the Combos button to view individual moves and the required swipes to pull them off. You can also equip different combos by pressing the SWAP button.
-Select a maneuver, then tap the question mark icon on the lower right to see what it does.
-Swipe and hold to perform a charge attack. This is a great way to break an enemy's guard.
-Be on the lookout for exclamation points directly above an enemy. This signals an attack. Tap the screen to counter. Here's the exclamation point breakdown: red (no counter), yellow (counter registered, waiting for move to finish), red (no counter).
-Visit the Shop to purchase Boosters. These include Fries (doubles and refills life gauge), Red Chili (fills Super Combo meter and grants a x2 multiplier) and Burger (replenishes health), among others. You need coins to make purchases, and can select up to five items per game.
-Give consideration to Perks as well, which do a variety of things, from increasing the size of your health gauge to adding another Booster slot.
Tips From The Game Bakers
-Swipe an enemy while he is juggled to do the Air Attack. The Air Attack deals three times the damage.
-Increase the combo meter by doing the following: hit enemies, blocking.
-Getting hit and waiting too long between hits breaks the combo streak.
-Super Meter will fill faster if you have a wide variety of attacks.
-Each time you use an attack you haven't used yet in the combo streak, it will fill a large chunk of the Super Meter.
-The Super Meter can be filled several times for a bonus multiplier.
-The score of each hit equals: attack score X combo streak X hit damage.
-The basic score for an attack depends on the type of attack: normal attack (five points), counter-attack (three points), 100 percent charged attack (10 points), combo (10 points), air attack (15 points), super combo hits (20 points).
