The Lone Ranger Cheats And Tips (iOS/iPad)
Even though The Lone Ranger didn't fare that well in our review, there's a chance you'll download it anyway, either because it's a free-to-play title or you're a fan of the film. To help you along, we've got a few tips that will let you dispense masked justice.
-If you need help keeping track of your missions - whether you're doing something as simple as finding a lighter or hunting down a notorious criminal to keep the town of Colby safe - simply tap on the Silver Star on the top right corner of the screen. Not only will you get a recap of active missions, but also how to complete them.
-Finding missions on-screen is as simple as looking for icons. You'll see locations easily marked with arrows that you can scroll down to, including objects like a building or well. You'll also track down enemies better this way, then target these lowlifes for attack, depending on how many hit points - shown with a lightning bolt next to them - you have on your meter. Use them wisely and don't miss. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for this to refill, or pay money.
-Be quick when it comes to picking up in-game cash. Breaking down items or helping those in need may reveal a cash pile. Tap it to add this currency to your funds, which you can use to upgrade your character in the game. The better the Ranger, the better the skills.
-With quick outlaw shootouts, you'll have an indication when you're supposed to shoot. Enemies will pop out slowly and aim, which will take about a second or so. Don't hesitate - shoot them on sight. Also watch for enemies in the higher areas, like rock formations and building rooftops. The more bad guys you shoot, the more silver coins you'll collect.
-When it comes to duels, it doesn't matter where you hit your adversary when they're in your sights. Just remember you do have to wait for the red bullseye to appear in order to hit them successfully. Also, before you enter a gun battle, be sure to check for their draw time as well as rewards when you finish. Some battles are worth walking away from if they have little to offer.
-Eventually, you'll need to reload your resources with The Lone Ranger. How you do this is completely up to you, whether you wait for your funds to eventually replenish in about an hour's time or use a couple of dollars to load up right away. It depends how much you get out of the game. If you're like us, it's worth the wait just to fill up on silver coins and recharges.
