iOS And Android Games Of The Week: July 12, 2013
You'll find plenty to like about the following iOS and Android games. The App Store received the sequel to one of the best card battlers on the market, while on Google Play, a light-hearted racer captivated thousands of players. The best part? You can snag both titles regardless of platform. Prepare to download.
To be fair, Magic 2014 feels similar to its critically acclaimed predecessor (that's great, actually), but with two stand-out additions. The first is a meatier tutorial that teaches players the basics, while Sealed Play mode lets you create the best possible deck from random selections of cards. Beyond that, premium content includes more than 250 cards, 18 campaign stages and even one-on-one multiplayer. Ultimately, a great game became even better.
We don't know how much money the Turbo movie will pull in, but one thing's for certain, the video game's a hit. This casual-friendly racer lets players guide high speed snails through nine tracks. They'll upgrade their critters, master a series of different game types (Time Trial, Rival Races) and even view their greatest moments via replay. Definitely a fun way to pass the time.
