Commodore Entering Mobile Market
New ways to receive games, coming soon...
Commodore Gaming announced today its plans to enter the mobile game market, and will launch a line of MediaTowers in retail stores across Europe. Not actually developing any games, the company will distribute titles from developer Telcogames, and the new MediaTowers will give consumers the ability to download these mobile titles directly to their phones using either Bluetooth, media cards, or USB.
"We believe that the revolution in handheld media devices, which includes the new generation of mobile phones will demand a variety of simple, user-friendly ways for consumers to download content," commented Bala Keilman, CEO of Commodore Gaming.
The company hopes that these new channels for delivering digital content will open up new ways for consumers to receive media, whether it be video, music, business applications, or games.
