Uber Entertainment Announces Toy Rush For Mobile Devices

It's time to start playing with your toys again.
Uber Entertainment, the developer behind the wildly popular Monday Night Combat games for Xbox Live Arcade and PC, announced a new mobile project called Toy Rush. This new tower defense game has players using a number of toys to fend off incoming invaders, who also happen to be toys.
The development team partnered with Tilting Point, which will lend its expertise on "monetization, retention, marketing and user acquisition strategies."
In Toy Rush, you'll be able to design and build bases, then defend them from the likes of monsters and robots. Throughout each battle, you'll be able to collect attack cards ranging from rubber band guns to gumball launchers, keeping your bases safe in the process. You'll also be able to take on friends in asynchronous multiplayer, as well as form clubs to chat with them.
"We've created a tower defense game with tremendous character, infusing it with plush toys, tech robots, and wild beasts," said John Comes, Design Director at Uber Entertainment. "We've combined this with unique card mechanics, asynchronous multiplayer gameplay, and deep strategy elements. It's simply a ton of fun!"
Toy Rush will be shown for the first time later this month during the PAX Prime event in Seattle. Look for it later this year.
