Assassin's Creed: Pirates Plundering Mobile Devices This Fall
Get ready for treasure hunting and naval combat.
One of our favorite parts from last year's Assassin's Creed III were the naval battles. Nothing beat taking your ship into dangerous waters and downing rivals by ramming and firing cannonballs into them. Today, Ubisoft announced a mobile game that will specifically focus on this style of play - and you're bound to love it.
Titled Assassin's Creed: Pirates, the game features an all new character, Alonzo Batilla, a young captain who tried to make a pirating name for himself on the high seas. Throughout the game, you'll engage in a number of naval battles, while dealing with the likes of Blackbeard and other familiar characters from the upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. In addition, you can plunder to your heart's content for treasure, keeping your crew satisfied in the meantime.
You can watch a teaser trailer for Pirates below. The game should arrive later this year for mobile devices.
