Daxter PSP Moves Up
Jak's no-longer sidekick makes his starring debut a week earlier
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that forthcoming PSP title Daxter will arrive in retailers a week early, with a new release date of March 14, 2006.
The game stars the obnoxious little rodent from Naughty Dog's popular Jak and Daxter series, only this time the usual hero Jak has taken a back seat as Daxter prepares to let everyone know that he's no longer a sidekick.
An action/adventure title with a slew of different gameplay features, including an Ad Hoc multiplayer mini-game. Players who own Jak X: Combat Racing on the PS2 can also make use of a unique connectivity feature between the console title and the portable Daxter. Doing so will unlock various new characters, costumes, and vehicles in both titles.
Daxter for the PSP is rated "E-10+" for Everyone ages 10 or older. For the full report on the title, check out our preview.
