Clash of Clans Developer Sells Company Stake For $1.5 Billion
No, that's not a typo.
Clash Of Clans developer Supercell has sold a 51 per cent stake in the company to developer GungHo Online Entertainment and Japanese telecoms firm Softbank. The deal is worth a staggering $1.5 billion.
The deal follows news back in April that the developer was making an incredible $500,000 every day from its flagship title. The studio's profits are no doubt being bolstered by the recent release of the game for Android devices.
