Flipcase Turns iPhone 5c Case Into Connect Four Video Game
Party in the front and back.
The iPhone 5c is an impressive device. Along with a gorgeous screen, it also comes with a spiffy case that features a bunch of holes in the back, so your phone's colors shine through.
A developer by the name of Bytesize Systems came up with an innovative way to put this design to good use. It launched an app called Flipcase, which is free of charge. Once activated, it allows you to place the case on the front of your device and play an interactive game of Connect Four, either against a friend via pass-and-play or the computer. The goal, as always, is to line up four colored pieces to form a line before your opponent does the same.
How's it work? Simple. You place your chips by pressing the lines where you want them dropped, through the holes on the case. You can see this in action below.
Even if you prefer the case where it originally sits, this is worth trying out. It's free, so why not? Beats dragging out an actual Connect Four board and dropping pieces everywhere, right?
