Sonic The Hedgehog 2 And Other Sega Games Coming To Mobile
Demon Tribe and Sonic & All Stars Racing Remastered also on the way.
Sega of America will keep players busy this holiday season with four upcoming mobile games, including a couple featuring its iconic mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog.
First up is Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular mobile kart racer. Players will be able to transform their vehicles across a number of new stages, while racing against competitive A.I. drivers as well as fellow racers through four-player local and online competition. It'll arrive winter 2013.
Next up, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 returns to mobile, but this time with the same remastering that the original Sonic and Sonic CD went through. This means more precise control and a presentation similar to the original Sega Genesis classic. Look for it in November.
The next game in the line-up is an original adventure called Demon Tribe. Set in a fantasy world where demons are slowly taking over, players will engage in MOBA-like scenarios, collecting cards and battling to keep the world safe. Featuring addictive multiplayer, a captivating presentation and the guidance of legendary Panzer Dragoon and Yakuza director Masayoshi Kikuchi, Demon Tribute should be spectacular when it arrives this winter.
Finally, Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper is up next, a quirky, enjoyable music/rhythm game that originally came out on the Nintendo 3DS. Players will dance to the beat in the City of Lights, while gathering clues to solve a mystery. This game will arrive in early 2014.
We'll have reviews of these games following their release.
