FIFA 14 Achieves 26 Million Downloads
EA Sports announced that FIFA 14 achieved a whopping 26 million downloads on mobile devices, making it the number one free-to-play game across 148 countries on the iOS front. In addition, it found its way into the Top 10 Top Grossing Games on iPhone in 115 of those countries, with many players upgrading with in-app purchases.
To celebrate, EA Sports revealed a new mobile platform for the popular soccer sim, as it'll be make its debut on Windows Phone 8 devices soon. This will allow owners of Microsoft mobile devices to check out the Touch Flow controls, as well as all the other features that make it such a hit with soccer fans.
Congrats to EA Sports. You have to wonder if it'll follow suit with new iterations of golf and Madden football games in the future.
