King Preps Candy Crush Saga TV Ads For Japan
The phenomenon will continue to spread, with some help from Mikako Tabe.
Given Candy Crush Saga's immense popularity in numerous markets, we knew it was only a matter of time before King brought the match-three puzzle game to Japan. To help prepare for its arrival, the company has begun working on commercials that will air on Japanese TV.
This isn't the first time the publisher has worked on commercials for the game - some aired earlier this year - but this push features actress Mikako Tabe, who previously appeared in Sailor Moon musicals. We've included one of the commercials so you can see just how sweet it is.
Although the game hasn't climbed up the charts just yet - it currently sits in 15th place in the top grossing charts overseas - it's only a matter of time before it catches on in popularity the same way that GungHo Online's Puzzle & Dragons (http://www.modojo.com/reviews/puzzle__dragons) did.
