The Simpsons: Tapped Out Gets Holiday 4.6.1 Update
Celebrate the season with plenty of Christmas shenanigans.
Avid players of The Simpsons: Tapped Out will want to check out the game today, as a new holiday update provides a number of Christmas-oriented goodies.
There are several presents and gift bags scattered throughout Springfield, and you can collect spin tokens in an attempt to win more by spinning Krusty's Non-Denominational Holiday Giveaway.
You can also play around with new characters in the city, including Ebenezer Burns, Mr. Costington of Costington's Department Store and the town drunk Barney, wreaking havoc in his Plow King outfit.
Several new locations are also available, including the Spingfield Mall, the Helter Shelter homeless facility, an Egg Nog Bar and a Happy Elves ride at Krustyland, which you can make yourself.
Finally, you'll stumble upon a new quest storyline, where Springfield residents are rewarded with gift cards following a clerical error. It's a shame that never happens to us.
The update is available now, and is free of charge.
