Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Gets New Update, Piñata Party

There's no question that Plants vs. Zombies 2 has held its own as one of 2013's best mobile games. Today, PopCap made it even better with the release of a new update.

Available for download, the update adds additional levels to the game, a themed pack called "Piñata Party." You'll find a number of zombies that need to be put down, along with a slew of plants.

In addition, the game also features an improved interface, so players "know how much you've done, where you're going and what loot you'll get along the way," according to a PopCap update. A new Turbo button has also been added, in case you aren't too thrilled with the zombies' slow pace.

The update is available on the App Store now, and will be released for Android soon. It is free-of-charge.
