Dystopian Thriller Republique Launching On iOS This Week
The successful KickStarter project becomes a reality.
Last year, the team at Plan of Attack, headed up by former Kojima Productions assistant producer Ryan Payton, launched a very successful KickStarter campaign for a mobile stealth survival game called Republique. The game managed to raise over $550,000, leaving people wondering just when it would come out. Well prepare yourselves, because it's not far off.
Republique will launch on December 19th in the App Store, according to the publisher. The game will feature console-quality gameplay and graphics that really bring out the most in Apple's latest iOS devices.
The game has a 1984/Brave New World-like setting, as you'll use surveillance cameras and other network-enabled devices in order to help your survivor escape the draconian, Orwellian-inspired society. It won't be easy, but with the right amount of skill, you can get the job done.
