Robocop Upholding The Law On Mobile Devices January 9
We'd buy that for a dollar…except it's free-to-play.
With MGM and Columbia Pictures' Robocop film reboot headed to theaters next month, Glu Mobile announced that it will release a tie-in third-person action game on mobile devices this week.
In the free-to-play Robocop game, players will dish out justice with the electronically enhanced police officer, using drone strikes to take out large groups of enemies while saving human hostages and capturing informants. In addition, you'll use heavy firepower to deal with aggressive robot enemies from the film, including the ED-209.
The game will offer plenty of upgrades to make Robocop a better soldier, and also lets you take full advantage of his abilities, including scanning targets via heat vision to locate weak points. Yes, you'll be able to go for the knees if you wish.
Look for more coverage on Robocop following its release. Come quietly, or there will be...trouble.
