CTIA: M-PLAY Goes on Display
USA Wireless unveils its universal mobile game controller
USA Wireless's new M-PLAY device is being shown to the trade for the first time this week at CTIA in Las Vegas, expanding on the company's Mobile Chaos brand.
The M-PLAY is a controller made for mobile gaming, and though it appears to have many improvements over currently existing controllers, its biggest advantage is said to be the universal compatibility technology that will enable its usage with most cell phone models.
As you can see from the pictures below, you basically just slip your phone into the holder, and begin using it. Built-in key mode configuration software should make it easier to reconfigure the game pad keys manually for a new game, and the M-PLAY controller buttons replicate the phone's keypad so existing game instructions remain relevant.
The M-PLAY will run at a suggested retail price of $49.00, and you can check out any other details and information at the official website.
