Crazy Taxi: City Rush Making Crazy Money For iOS And Android
New entry in Sega's popular franchise to feature wild rides, over the top characters and user-friendly swipe controls.
Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller was the last game in the franchise we played, and that title debuted in 2002. That said, it's been a long time since we've seen the likes of BD Joe and the rest of the crazy crew, and that will change later this year with Crazy Taxi: City Rush, coming to iOS and Android devices in the near future.
This mobile-exclusive entry features swipe mechanics that take advantage of touchscreen devices, along with a variety of missions and custom taxis for players to enjoy. Especially interesting is Sega's decision to ask Crazy Taxi creator Kenji Kanno to work on this sequel.
"I'm very excited to finally be able to share with you the first news of Crazy Taxi: City Rush," said Executive Producer and creator of the arcade original, Kenji Kanno. "We are delivering a truly fun game that captures everything our fans love about the original and infusing it with several new features to create an even more fantastic and memorable experience."
Throughout the game, players will complete different challenges, pull off stunts and of course, make crazy money taking people to numerous destinations. The trailer does not show gameplay, but these screens will give you an idea what to expect.
City Rush already soft launched in select regions, so hopefully we won't have long to wait for its worldwide release.
