Pixel Gun 3D Cheats And Tips
Shoot like a pixel pro.
Pixel Gun 3D has come a long way since its release late last year. The survival campaign was extended to include more monsters to shoot, and a new multiplayer component allows you to battle up to seven other people in a winner-take-all match. For good measure, you can also design your own pixelated character for the world to see.
Here are some tips that'll help you survive the onslaught.
How do I play Pixel Gun 3D?
It's set up like a traditional first-person shooter. You'll keep your right hand on the right side of the screen to control your aim and direction, while the left will allow you to move around the map, including strafing from side to side. Other functions, including jumping, shooting and reloading your weapon can be performed with the smaller buttons on the lower right hand side of the screen.
The controls take some getting used to, but after a few rounds, you'll get into it in no time.
How do I start a multiplayer or co-op match in Pixel Gun 3D?
This is where the game can take a while, as it does take a minute or so to set up a match. However, the option is right there in the main menu, and it doesn't cost anything to set up a multiplayer match. It just takes a little bit of time for everyone to get in, so be patient.
As for cooperative mode, you can put together four players locally in a group to fend off hordes of zombies and other monsters. This mode supports chat if you have a Bluetooth headset, and also provides equal coin payouts if your team manages to make it through the room.
If you don't have online or local friends to team up with, you still have the survival campaign, where you'll face off against plenty of enemies. There's something for everyone.
How do I buy new weapons in Pixel Gun 3D?
There are three main weapons you'll use in the game - your primary, your secondary and your melee. You'll start out with an assault rifle, pistol and knife, but you can upgrade these in the armory using coins earned throughout each mission or online battle, or through buying them separately (more on that below).
Various weapons are available, including a Colt pistol, a heavy machine gun, an AK47 and others. Shop around and see what each of the different weapons do for you. We're particularly fond of the AK-47, mainly because of the ammunition it packs.
Make sure to shop around for shields as well, as these can protect you from enemy hits. They'll open up as you complete more missions in the game, with the option to purchase.
How do I design my own character in Pixel Gun 3D?
It's rather easy. There's an option on the main menu to create your own character from scratch to use in the game's many modes, with a number of options at your fingertips. Let your imagination run wild, and see what you can come up with. It might even be better than our designs.
Do I need to pay for anything in Pixel Gun 3D?
The game is generally free-to-play, so you don't need to worry about dropping any funds unless you want some of the better weapons right away. In that case, you can spend anywhere from $1.99 for 30 coins up to $99.99 for 2,000 coins. We suggest sticking to playing through the rounds and seeing what you can unlock. It's more fun that way.
