Spy Wars Cheats And Tips
We'll help you master the spy game and create the world's greatest agency.
Hothead Games' Spy Wars lets you control an elite group of spies, bringing down your enemies while strengthening your team and becoming the best spy agency. Here are some tips that will help you dominate the game.
How do I hire agents in Spy Wars?
In order to build a successful spy team, you'll need to hire agents. The first two, a locksmith and a hacker, are automatically available as you walk through the game's tutorial. To hire the others, visit the Agency screen, head to the Store and see which Agents are available to purchase. They vary in skill, including a bombs expert and a brawler. See which ones suit your combat style.
Note: You'll earn more cash completing missions.
How do I train agents in Spy Wars?
Training is essential to making a better spy team, as they'll learn new skills and techniques to work faster and bring down enemies. Head to the Training Room after it's built in your headquarters, then select the agent you want to train. Pick which specialty room to train them in (you can build multiple rooms in your headquarters) and watch them improve in a matter of minutes.
How do I infiltrate enemy bases in Spy Wars?
Enemies have their own special headquarters set up, and give you the option to attack. However, you'll want to make sure to watch out for traps, and assure that your agents are properly trained for the mission. The higher they are in skill strength, the better chance they'll have of completing the mission.
Head to the Agency screen and check under the Missions tab, then tap the right button to activate Multiplayer. You'll see which opponents are available for invasion.
If you have extra cash, don't be afraid to use it to seek out rival agencies. Avid fans of this game will certainly get a kick out of taking on their friends.
How do I divide the Energy Pool in Spy Wars?
Over the course of each mission, you'll need to use certain spies to complete objectives, such as breaking into a safe, hacking a terminal and overtaking the general headquarters. While you do this, you'll have access to an Energy Pool, which agents will use over the course of a mission.
In some spots, you may need to use two agents at once to complete a mission in the proper time, using a "double down" tactic. While effective, this could sap your Energy Pool rather quickly, and you may need to refill using available Energy Refills or cash in order to successfully complete the mission.
Make sure that you have a sufficient amount of energy before taking on a mission. It'll save you a little cash in the long run.
How do I build and upgrade Stations in Spy Wars?
Stations are a great way to keep your spy headquarters going strong, and you can always expand upon them with new training facilities, traps and other gadgets. Visit your Agency tab and select Stations, then see which buildings you want to put together and upgrade.
When it comes to upgrades, make sure your Command Center is in tip-top shape. There's no limit to how strong it can be, although there are limits to the level of stations surrounding it. The key goal is to keep the Command Center up and running, then worry about the other buildings.
Don't forget to set Traps. Your Agency will be a prime target for your friends, and you'll want to make sure you sufficiently trap the best buildings in your station, as well as the Command Center. This will slow enemies down, perhaps long enough for you to initiate a strong counter-attack. Don't be afraid to move traps to more active areas. Sometimes you'll need to do this to avoid a take-over.
How do I keep tabs on missions in Spy Wars?
There's a Missions tab located on the Agency screen that shows you all the active missions available. At first, there won't be too many to choose from, but as you complete these, the world will begin to open up, making more opportunities available.
Do I need to pay for anything in Spy Wars?
If you want to make serious progress in the game, there's a possibility you will. Everything in the game requires gems, whether it's refilling cash, spy points or energy. Gems also come in handy when it comes to speeding up the creation of a building.
You'll receive about 20 gems at the start of the game, but if you're serious about progress, you'll need to buy more, ranging anywhere from $1.99 for 50 to $99.99 for 3,750. Try the game for a while before you decide to invest any cash, though.
