Bike Assault Cheats And Tips
Robbery on the run.
Daniel Vilchez Carpio's Bike Assault is a simple and fun throwback to classic gaming, where you control a rider trying to rob a speeding armored vehicle by continuously shooting it. It's not an easy heist, as you'll contend with traffic and pick up gas canisters to keep your run going.
Here are some tips that will help you make a clean getaway.
Stay Behind the Vehicle
The only way you'll be able to collect cash from the armored vehicle is to stay behind it. This can be difficult, as occasionally your route will get broken up by vehicles that get in your way. However, you should be able to align yourself with it again, and keep shooting to collect the cash that falls out.
Watch Out for Gas Canisters
The meter in the upper left corner shows how much gas you have left. If you can, break away from your cash collecting long enough to pick up gas canisters that appear on the screen. These will give you quite a boost and allow you to keep the run going. Otherwise, you're going to run into a Game Over screen sooner than later.
Get the Hang of Steering
The controls in Bike Assault are a bit unusual, but you'll get used to this over time. Rather than using an on-screen control system, you move your bike by tilting the device. It's very sensitive, so take time to get used to the controls, and you'll dodge traffic like a bandit.
Go for the High Score
When it comes to achieving a high score in Bike Assault - and getting atop the game's free leaderboards - the key is to collect as much cash as possible. Try to get as close to the armored vehicle as you can - without getting close enough to collide with it - and pick up all the cash it leaves behind. It'll add to your total, which is featured in the upper right corner of the screen.
Beware the Driver
Be careful, the armored vehicle's driver can take care of himself. He'll attempt to box you into the upper or lower walls. Once you see him motioning towards you, move out of the way until he moves back up again, then keep shooting. Otherwise, you'll get run over.
Have Fun for Free
You don't have to worry about microtransactions in Bike Assault, as the game is completely free-to-play. However, there are pop-up advertisements that occasionally appear, and you'll also see prompts to download other apps. You can simply skip these and return to the game, as there's no obligation to download them.
