Fable Age Cheats And Tips
In Blue Tea Games' Fable Age, you'll find a combination of role-playing tactics and puzzle gameplay, as you combine gems together to fight your way through battle scenarios while leveling up your warriors. For good measure, you can also add new heroes to your line-up, gain new experience through potions and books, and battle alongside other players.
Here are some tips to help you get started.
How do I play Fable Age?
After selecting your character - either the Beast, Snow White or Robin Hood, each with special elements - you'll take part in a series of battles. During each turn, you'll link together gems on the bottom half of the screen, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. With each successful strain, you can regain energy (pink gems) and set up battle power amongst fire (red gems), earth (green gems) and water (blue gems) based enemies.
You can string together combos as well. After setting up a strain of five gems or more, equally lengthened gems will link together, thus creating more power for your character overall. It helps to try and link them together at the bottom of the screen, as this creates more possibilities for gems to drop down.
How do I unlock new heroes in Fable Age?
You'll come across various quests where you can earn treasure chests. Once you get these, don't hesitate to open them up, as they'll include a variety of characters, including frog princes, common soldiers and more. You can add them to your team, which you'll want to do in order to take on larger groups of enemies.
Selecting which character to use is vital, as you want to try and keep a good balance with your team when it comes to fire, earth and water essences. This way, you're prepared for any enemies that come your way.
Also, be sure to pay the Oracle a visit. You can earn rare Heroes through her as well, though you'll occasionally need to spend gems to make them a sweeter deal.
How can I use gems to my advantage in Fable Age?
There are four things to keep in mind. First, watch out for gems that have plus symbols next to them. These add extra power to your attacks and techniques, and chaining two or more in a strain will make you nearly unbeatable to smaller enemies.
The second is your strength. Should you run low, simply chain together several pink heart-shaped gems. These will give you a boost and allow you to continue fighting. Otherwise, your turn will be forfeit and you'll have to try again.
Next up, you can actually link different gems together, depending on the members of your team, to unleash a powerful squad attack. This lets your team take down multiple foes at once, making it easier to survive battles
Finally, be sure to give area attacks a try. This is where you can chain together gems in a shape on the playfield. Doing so multiplies your attack strength, so you can really do some damage. They're not as common as general strains, but watch out for them anyway.
How do I level up heroes in Fable Age?
Head over to the Power-Up menu under the Heroes tab. Once you're there, select the hero that you want to level up. From there, you'll want to select the book to level them up. (This will be explained in the tutorial, books are easy to acquire in battles.) Once you're done, your character will gain a level, becoming even stronger with their element, and in general battles.
How do I use character skills in Fable Age?
When a character is charged up, you can use their special attacks to really put the hurt on the enemy.
Remember to keep an eye on your elements as you use these. It's vital to save them for enemies you'll affect. For instance, with the Beast, it's best to use him against water-based enemies, where he does the most damage.
These have a cool down period of about 10 turns or so, so use them sparingly!
Do I need to pay for anything in Fable Age?
There are two things to watch out for. The first is the use of gems, which you'll occasionally need to enhance your characters' abilities and unlock new books in the game. The second is your stamina meter, which subtracts every time you take on a new mission.
Once you run out of energy, you can drop some gems for a quick refill or wait it out. If you need some extra gems, you can pay anywhere from $0.99 for one to $59.99 for 85. Get used to the game first before you go spending like crazy.
