FarmVille 2: Country Escape Cheats And Tips

Grow crops like a pro.

If you're addicted to Zynga's FarmVille, get ready for a whole new experience, as FarmVille 2: Country Escape arrived for mobile devices. Like the previous game, your job is to grow the ultimate farm by expanding crops, creating buildings and other structures, caring for animals and taking part in activities with neighbors.

Here are some tips that will get you farming like a pro in no time!

How do I create buildings in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

You may think the most basic buildings cover most things, like a barn and a farm house, but there's a little more to it than that. Buildings also consist of silos, wells (for water), water troughs and hen houses. You'll need to manage these carefully in order to keep your farm going.

How you acquire buildings depends on your leveling up. As you get better at the game, you'll have access to more buildings, and you'll want to spread them around on your farm so you have plenty of room left over for crops and animals.

Make sure you get the basics first - the farm house, the barn and the well - before moving on to more complex structures. Remember, building a great farm takes time.

How do wells work in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

Wells provide a good portion of water for your land, which you'll need to keep crops growing and keep animals happy. Each well on your land gives you 10 waters each time you go to harvest, which is a suitable amount. However, as time goes on, you might consider investing in a second well.

By doubling the water resources, you can keep its level going steadily on your farm, instead of needing to ask friends for it when you're running low. It costs quite a bit (around 14,000 coins), but you'll be thankful later as your crops prosper.

Try to build wells moderately close together, as you can keep an eye on both of them and harvest water at just the right times.

How do I feed animals in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

In addition to taking care of animals and helping them grow strong (a vital ingredient to farming), you can also set up a feed grinder, which takes crops and then turns them into food to keep your animals sufficient. When it comes to the right kind of crops, it really depends on your animals.

The best crops suitable for animals overall are blueberries and olives. Blueberries are pretty common on your farm, but when it comes to olives, you need to plant specialty olive trees to grow them. It can be a bit costly, but when it comes to a good all-around food to keep your animals healthy, you really can't go wrong with them.

Silos are also a good way to store extra feed, so you don't run low when your crops take more time to grow. They can store up to 25 feed at a time, doubling your capacity of what the farm can carry. Store up whenever you can, even if it means leaving your grinder a bit short in the meantime. You're always able to go back to it.

How do I complete quests in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

Over the course of the game, you'll run across a series of challenges, including making strawberry pies to sell and collecting mud shovels to clean up your farm. Most of these objectives are pretty easy to complete, although you can spend some cash to skip them if they become too bothersome. In addition, you can also ask friends for help, and most users are happy to oblige.

Visit the tab on the main menu to see what the main objectives are, and then get to work. Don't forget to keep a close eye on your resources in the meantime, though - you don't want your resources to dry up!

How do I make friends in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

Even if you don't know a whole lot of people playing FarmVille 2, there's still a way to make friends in the game. This usually comes in the form of neighbors, as others can visit your farm, or you can visit theirs. Once there, neighbors provide a number of friendly services, such as fertilizing crops, tending to trees or activating certain objects to generate extra income.

Connecting worked fine for us during our time with the game, so it should be very easy to hop into FarmVille's online universe and see what other farms are around. We certainly suggest doing so anyway, as you might learn a thing or two from crop management simply by seeing what some neighbors are up to.

In addition, you can chat with your neighbors and set aside a number of task for your farm (and theirs) on a daily basis, thus forming a team. By doing this, you can manage some resources better, such as water, and watch each of your farms thrive. No reason to be competitive here - it is FarmVille, after all.

Do I need to pay for anything in FarmVille 2: Country Escape?

You can get through a good part of the game by managing resources on the farm or asking friends for assistance. However, you may come to the point where you need to invest real money in order to continue.

There are two things you can buy in the game - keys, which will help you with expansion and building management, and coins, which you can use to purchase goods. These range from $2.49 to $49.99, depending on your needs. See what thrives from your farm first, then decide how many you need.

If you need assistance getting started in the game, you can also purchase starter packs, which give you a variety of goods depending on small ($2.49), medium ($6.49) and large ($12.99). See what each one has to offer before you invest, though.
