Hitman GO Level 1-8 Walkthrough

Moving guards won't stand a chance with you around.

Hitman GO is Square Enix's latest entry in the Agent 47-based series, but it's a different take on it. Rather than executing lavish missions, you're playing in a stylish board game setting, solving puzzles by knocking off (or avoiding) guards and reaching an exit, while trying to obtain as many stamps as possible.

We just walked through levels 1-6 and 1-7, now we'll guide you through the more elaborate level 1-8!

1-8 Walkthrough

This stage is trickier than the previous ones. Not only does it introduce a live mark that you need to take out (in place of an exit), but it also introduces guards that move in intervals, so they're not staying put as in previous stages.

We've got three walkthroughs for you here. The first lets you get to your target; the second lets you complete the stage in 14 moves or less; and the third instructs you on how to collect the bonus briefcase up top, as well as being able to eliminate your key target. Let's get started!

Kill: To get to your main target (you won't want to waste your time killing the guards here), head out of the house and make your way to the bottom of the stage. You'll need to shift around a bit on the bottom here, heading right first and then back to the left. The main guard you'll want to keep your eye on is the one leading the route along the fence on the right, where your target is located. Keep moving back and forth on the bottom until he eventually passes on the right hand side, then move in right behind him. You'll stay one space behind him, and get close enough to take out your target by simply moving to the right.

This same process works when it comes to getting under 14 moves. Start by working down on the bottom, then moving back and forth along there to avoid the guards patrolling your way. Once the right works his way to the bottom, wait for him to pass, then move in right behind him. You'll eventually get to your target and earn the 14 turns or less stamp!

Collect briefcase: Finally, there's a bonus briefcase in the top left corner of the screen - which is near impossible to get to due to the guard patrolling along the left hand side. Here's how to get it, though. Make your way to the bottom of the screen and wait for the guard on the right side to come around. Once he does, work your way behind him, but then head to the left. You'll be able to take out the patrolling guard that's just to the north of you. Head back down as the guard on the left passes, then work your way upward. He'll pass right by, allowing you to move in and get the briefcase. The route of the guards will now let you go right and then down, and then take out the target in the tennis cage. You're good to go!
