Shadow Fight 2 Cheats And Tips
Out of the darkness and into the fight.
There are plenty of fighting games to choose from on mobile, most of them made by Capcom. However, Shadow Fight 2 works a bit differently, relying more on genuine strategy than flashy multi-combo hits. You'll face a plethora of opponents as you upgrade with new weapons and moves, win tournaments and eventually become the master of brawling. Need some help beating Lynx's bodyguards check out our Bodyguard Cheats And Tips Guide here.
The road to being a champion isn't easy, though. Luckily, we have a few pointers.
How do I play Shadow Fight 2?
You have a variety of punch and kick attacks, which you can change depending on which way you're holding the virtual joystick on the lower left side of the screen. For instance, pointing it forward will give you straightforward attacks, while holding it back or down-backward will change your moves on the defensive end.
The goal is to win each fight scoring critical or hard hits, mainly to the head or other vulnerable points on a fighter's body. The key involves watching what they do and preparing for their attack.
For example, if an opponent comes jumping in, hold down-back and press the kick button to launch a mule kick into the air. Most of the time, this will catch your foe, sending them falling to the floor.
Practice your moves in the dojo and see what works best for you. Remember to mix up offense and defense for best results.
How do I upgrade my character in Shadow Fight 2?
The goal is to keep winning fights. By doing this, you'll unlock new moves that your character can learn in the dojo, including flying kicks and sweeps, among others. The more they learn, the more versatile they'll become in a fight.
In addition, you can use gems and coins to unlock new gear, including hands-on weaponry (like knives and swords) and costumes for your shadow character. If you're not up for buying everything through earning it, you can invest real cash as well. More on that below.
What happens if I lose a fight in Shadow Fight 2?
It happens - sometimes an opponent will be tougher than you estimated. Simply head back in and study their techniques, then form your own counter-attack methods. Remember, the mule kick, jump kick (up-right and kick) and straightforward attacks work best, especially if you try and connect them together. Combine a jump kick with a pair of quick strikes, and you'll wipe out a good chunk of their energy bar.
Is there multiplayer in Shadow Fight 2?
Sadly, no. However, the single player campaign will keep you busy across six different worlds, with no shortage of warriors to take on.
What happens if an opponent gets behind me in Shadow Fight 2?
Moving defensively is just as important as striking, as it allows you to stay out of harm's way when an opponent is on the attack. Simply use your joystick without any button functions to jump out of the way or run back, and then plan your next move. Just keep moving.
Do I need to pay for anything in Shadow Fight 2?
You'll earn a decent amount of coins in Shadow Fight 2, but if you've an avid player, you may want to invest in gems. You use energy from a bar that appears on the top of the screen with each new fight you start. Once you run out, you'll either need to wait for it to refill with time, or pay a gem. There are free offers available as well, so check those out.
You'll also use coins for new costumes and weapons. These make a huge difference in later fights. Hold off until you see what everything costs, and slowly work your way up.
At the start of the game, you'll be able to buy a pair of knives that will come in handy. As you gradually move along, you can unlock more. Whether you spend money depends on if you're patient enough to earn it for free. If not, you can buy coins anywhere from $0.99 to $19.99. Gems start at $2.99 and go up to $19.99.
