Big Fish Casino: Blackjack Cheats And Tips
Don't count cards like Ben Affleck. Use our foolproof tips instead.
Big Fish Casino is a great way to pass the time with fellow players and friends, with a variety of activities available to gamble away your virtual currency. We already covered the basics when it comes to the poker games, and now we're back with tips on how to master blackjack.
Don't bother counting cards in this one. It's all a matter of how to approach the game and spread the love around. Are you listening, Ben Affleck?
Your Cards vs. the Dealer's Cards
When you begin your initial hand, you want to see what kind of cards you receive up front, compared to the card the dealer shows in his hand. For example, let's say you have an 18, and you see the dealer come up with a 10 card.
Now, in this given situation, the dealer could possibly beat you with a face card, like a Queen or a King. Then again, he could wind up with a 4 and have to pay out, since he can only stand on 17 or higher.
It really depends on what kind of cards you have. If you have a good hand at 17/18 or better, go ahead and stand. Hitting will get in you trouble most of the time anyway.
However, if you have something less, like 12 or 13, go ahead and hit, depending on what the dealer has. Chances are you'll bust out with his more successful hand anyway and still lose your money - so why not take a chance? You may end up with a 7 or an 8 to get closer to 21.
Watch Fellow Players
Usually, when you join one of the available blackjack tables (they range on location and minimum bet - stick with the $1,000 table to get started), you'll see other players join and take part. It never hurts to watch what they do on the table, because you could learn a thing or two.
Chances are you'll mostly run into safe players that follow the same tactics we listed above. However, every once in a while, you'll run across a veteran who isn't afraid to bet big. See how they behave compared to what the dealer laid down, and try to adapt it to your playing style.
It helps to learn as much as possible from blackjack pros, especially when it comes to entering tables with higher minimum bids, such as international casinos. Failing to learn what it takes to gamble high and win big could result in busting out and waiting for your funds to refill.
Buy Everyone Virtual Drinks
Similar to the poker games, Blackjack occasionally gives you the option to gift fellow players drinks. While this won't have a genuine affect on the game, it does provide a friendly gesture, relieving some of the tension that builds at a table with higher bets.
You'll see the gift icon pop up, and once it does, buy the place a round. It won't hurt your winnings, and you'll look good in the process.
Don't Leave too Quickly
Finally, if you decide to leave a blackjack table, don't exit right away. The reason for this is because the dealer will automatically play another hand as you prepare to walk away. The game will ask if you want to leave after the next hand. Go ahead and stick around. That way, you'll be able to play out the funds you laid down, and who knows? Your luck might change for the better.
