Transformers Age of Extinction- The Official Game is based on the summer blockbuster film. This fast-paced 3D combat runner brings the experience of the movie to the palm of your hands. You control the Autobots as you defend humanity against the Decepticon assault on Earth. Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Grimlock and more are at your command. That said, these tips will help rid the world of the Decepticon threat.
How do you play as the Autobots in Transformers: Age of Extinction?
There are six different Autobots to choose from in the game. They include Optimus Prime, Hound, Drift, Grimlock, Bumblebee and Crosshairs. The characters are rated on three categories: Hit Points, Melee and Ranged. Each Autobot has different ratings for each category. The aptly named Crosshairs, for example, has a better ranged skill than melee, and Bumblebee has a more all-around rating. There are also two different versions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee with different color schemes and skills.
Bumblebee is the only character unlocked to start the game. You unlock most of the other characters by earning stars for completing missions. Each new character costs 10 stars. Bumblebee V.2 can be unlocked by connecting the game with your Facebook account. Grimlock, meanwhile, can only be unlocked by collecting 30 Synergons. You get Synergon by completing specific missions throughout the game.
How do you upgrade Autobots in Transformers: Age of Extinction?
For each mission you complete, you receive experience points for the Autobot you completed the mission with. The Autobot's Hit Point, Melee and Ranged stat increases with each level up.
Equipping the Autobot with new and better gear can also increase stats. Gear can be purchased through Cargo Packs. Cargo Packs can be purchased using the Energon Packs, which you receive as rewards for killing enemies and completing missions. The most common Energon is Blue. Green Energon Packs, however, are uncommon, and Rare Energon Packs (as the name implies) are rare. The rarer the packs used to buy Cargo, the better the gear. Gear can also be upgraded and leveled up using Energon Shards that you get after each mission. You can also buy Cyber Credits that can be used to acquire rare gear. Cyber Credits range in price from $0.99 to $99.99.
How do you beat Transformers: Age of Extinction?
Each level in the game has three missions. Those missions vary in objective, but most of the time the mission is completed when the player reaches a certain amount of kills, points or Energon cubes collected. A new level opens when the player completes the first mission of each level. The enemies become more difficult as you progress through the game. It benefits the player to complete each mission before moving on to a new level. Each completed mission gives the player experience, Energon Packs and Shards, rare upgrade items and stars to unlock new characters.
How do you beat Decepticons in Transformers: Age of Extinction?
There are a few different Decepticon enemies in each mission. It is important to use both melee and ranged attacks to defeat all of the threats you will encounter. Enemies like the gunner will shoot you from afar, so your best bet is to get close and use your melee attacks. Other enemies will run at you, so weaken them with your guns before they reach you. It's important to kill as many enemies as possible, not only because it's a mission objective, but you also want to earn a better score and get more Energon Packs and Shards. Changing into a car is important during specific moments because the missions are timed and the enemies are spread out. This will allow you to cover more ground and kill more enemies. Hitting the melee button while transforming will have your character do a powerful strike that does a lot of damage.
