Bandai Namco Showcases New Pac-Man Games at San Diego Comic-Con
Pac is back, with a vengeance.
Bandai Namco is bringing some Pac-Man goodness to San Diego Comic-Con this year, including a sneak peek at some new entries into the franchise.
First on the docket is Pac-Man Friends, a title that brings classic Pac-Man characters together throughout several different mazes where Pac-Man himself has to rescue his friends from the ghosts who have rescued them. Including 95 levels across 6 differnet world, you'll team up with 9 different friends to conquer the ghosts.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is a decidedly different beast, and acts as an official sequel. All three original modes, including Score Attack, Time Attack, and Ghost Combo are playable across 7 different zones with 150 levels. New power-ups are also included, along with additional challenge modes.
Looks like it's a good year for Pac-Man. San Diego Comic-Con attendees can play both new games at the Bandai Namco booth beginning July 24 through July 27.
