Marble Drop Cheats And Tips
Keep things rolling with this unique puzzle game.
M Squared Development's Marble Drop is a fun take on the classic game of dropping marbles, as you guide colored spheres into cups. You need to make sure the colors match up, or you'll need to start the round again. Along the way, you'll figure a way around obstacles on each course, including switches that open and close, and color changers that blend marbles together.
Don't lose your marbles. With these tips, you'll shoot like a champ!
How do I play Marble Drop?
The general goal of the game involves dropping marbles into their matching cups. However, there are pathways set up, so you'll need to drop them in the right funnels to get them going in the proper place. As you proceed through each stage, you can earn up to three stars, and the more stars you earn, the more stages you can unlock.
If you screw up on a stage, don't worry. With Marble Drop, you can get the hang of how the game works by restarting a stage with no penalty. Just keep trying, and be sure to do it as quickly as possible, since one of the stars awarded is for getting the stage completed in the quickest amount of time.
How do switches work in Marble Drop?
Switches open and close automatically as marbles roll over them. You'll see how this tactic works in the opening stages, as you roll a marble down one path, then another. It's really a neat tactic to take advantage of, as you can send multiple marbles rolling down at once (to save time) and watch the gate divide them up.
How do I use color mixers in Marble Drop?
Color mixers blend marble colors into more unique colors. Again, you'll find these in the opening stages of the game, and you can tap them at any time to see what different color combinations you can come up with.
Try to figure out the whole level before you begin dropping marbles. You could inadvertently end up with a different colored marble without taking a color mixer into account. Take your time and figure it out, earn the two basic stars first, then go back and drop them in the same order to get the third star on a time bonus.
Do I need to pay for anything in Marble Drop?
If you're the impatient type, or you just can't figure out some of the stages, you can buy coins in the game to unlock new levels. The game offers purchases ranging from 1,000 coins for $0.99 to 30,000 for $9.99, which unlocks everything. Honestly, though, trial and error is the best way to go get through the game, as you can generally unlock everything by earning enough stars. Give it a try!
